is a licensed architect and holds a PhD in Architecture from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. His dissertation, The Augmented Environment, was awarded cum laude and exhibited at the 16th Venice Biennale. He is Associate Professor in the Department of Architectural Graphic Ideation at the ETSAM School of Architecture, where his academic work includes regular collaboration with the EU Research Executive Agency on the Marie Sk?odowska-Curie Actions. Roig is also co-founder of Combolab, whose work has received wide recognition both nationally and internationally.
