earned his Doctorate in Psychology in 1997 from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich and was Associate Professor for Research on Learning and Instruction at the University of Tuebingen (2004-2006). He is currently a Full Professor of Educational Psychology and the Director of the Department of Psychology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. Since 2009, he is the speaker of the Munich Center of the Learning Sciences. His research revolves around learning and instruction and Technology-Enhanced Learning. He has published more than 100 journal articles and book chapters, and co-edited six books and special issues of scientific journals.
